Hello.
My name is Taylor Stolworthy, I am a Freshman at the University of Tampa, and this is my personal blog for the Digital Media class.
I originally come from Southington, CT, and I've spent my entire life there. However, just this summer, my family and I have moved down to Florida for retirement, and I am also down here, at the University of Tampa. I currently am intending to major in New Media, as the program was a very convincing factor for my decision to attend UT.
I think that this class will be very informative, and will help prepare me for success with my major in New Media, and it will be great to learn each program, as I know that it will be very useful for the rest of my time and UT, and even beyond. For my first impressions of the class, I think it's going to be a lot of fun, and even though I may not be super experienced with each program except with HTML 5 (and I haven't used HTML 5 before, I only know the HTML coding language), it's good to see my peers also will be learning with me.

Why "tstols" as a username?
When making this blog, I decided to use "tstols" for my posting name on the site. The reason is because "tstols" is not only a shortened first and last name combo, and not just because it is fun to say, but also because it's a nickname a lot of people call me.
